MINE–WORD GEARWORKS

The glowing orange SOURCE gear spins under power. Build a gear train that turns the pink TARGET gear (gold when powered), using only the gears in the tray. 4 wings × 8 mechanisms, each wing with a new twist.

• ⚙ Drag a gear from the tray onto the board. A dashed ring previews the mesh: green holds, red slips.
• 45° The stick rule — a gear holds ONLY when it rests on top of a mounted gear, within 45° of straight up. Side or below, nothing carries its weight — it slips off and falls (a gear below can still catch it on the way down).
• ⬇ Gears that fall off the board return to the tray. Tap a placed gear to pick it back up.
• ⛔ JAM — if two paths drive one gear in conflicting directions, the whole machine locks red. Remove a gear to free it.
• ↻ Some targets must spin a required direction (gold arrow). Every mesh flips direction — count your gears.
• ⚙ Bronze idlers are pre-mounted helpers that carry power. Dark-red gears are ALARMED — if one ever turns, the vault locks.
